AAL Membership

Astronomy clubs throughout the United States provide advice, instruction, education, access to telescopes, and lots of camaraderie to people who share a love of the night sky. Astronomy Associates of Lawrence is no exception. Below are some of the benefits of membership in AAL.

For the price of $12 ($6 for students) a year, membership dues, you will receive-

  • A subscription to the Astronomy Associates of Lawrence newsletter, The Celestial Mechanic, which provides information on club activities, hints on stargazing, a monthly calendar of celestial events, star maps and other astronomy news.
  • The right to vote in club elections and thereby help determine the future direction of AAL.
  • Access to telescopes at the Observing Station and at dark sites.
  • Invitations to all AAL events, both public and private.
