Research

My area of research is in observational astronomy and astrophysics. Bruce Twarog and I have concentrated on the application of precision photometry with intermediate-bandwidth optical filters and high-dispersion spectroscopy to understand stellar and galactic evolution. In recent years our emphasis has been on improving the fundamental data for open clusters within the disk of the Galaxy.
