Overview

We are proud to host several talk series that bring local, regional, and national speakers from a variety of organizations to share new developments and discoveries in physics and astronomy. 

Speakers are invited weekly during the Fall and Spring semesters to present a department-wide colloquium. Colloquium speakers include faculty and researchers from other universities or research institutions, as well as professionals from a variety of industry jobs. 

Each research umbrella group also hosts regular seminars during the academic year, giving students in those groups an opportunity to connect with researchers and professionals in their own field, or to present their own work.
